I have been to the roof top patio at Mambo Nuevo Latino four times this “summer” (i.e. in the last 6-8 weeks). And I’ve got to tell you…
I love the roof and the ambiance on it.
But, really, I am not so sure about the food or the prices or the quality of the drinks. As in, the salad I had today the Arugula and the Spinach weren’t that fresh, they never have the pumpkin ravioli type tapas (so take it off the menu already!), its too expensive and their fancy drinks have a tendency to taste like Kool Aid and to be thin on the alcohol content. It took me three meet-ups to figure it out. First, I loved it. Second, I wasn’t as sure, third, I was sure… fourth, I was only there ’cause the party was happenin’ there!
It seems to be *the* place to meet up with friends after work this summer, and the roof-top patio is really nice, so what can I do?
