NYT has published it’s list of 100 Notable Books of 2007. Well, not many of them cover my fav. subjects.. but Ishmael Beah made the list. :-) Well deserved that one. Maybe I’ll find some holiday reading on the list?

I ended up paying the remaining amount of fees for 2007-8 minus the graduate completion grant amount. Gah. My defense is TWO days after the deadline for paying no more than I’ve already paid. Serious. :-( There was too much mathematics involved. So I just said uncle. I am now waiting to hear whether they give refunds.
